Free LocalBusiness schema generator.

Schema markup (JSON-LD) is the hidden code that tells Google and the AI engines exactly what your business is, where it is, and what it offers — in a format they cannot misread. Most local sites don't have it, and most tools only tell you it's missing. This one writes it.

What it does

Takes your business name, category, town, website, services, phone and service area — plus optional street address, postal code and opening hours — and emits a complete LocalBusiness JSON-LD block, ready to paste into the <head> of your site.

Why it matters

Everything else about your site is inference. Schema markup is declaration. It is the one place you get to state your name, address, phone, hours and service area as machine-readable fact rather than hoping a crawler parses your footer correctly.

What we deliberately left out

The other twenty Schema.org types. A local business does not need an ontology; it needs one correct LocalBusiness block on the page that matters. Adding types you cannot maintain is how markup goes stale and starts contradicting your Google Business Profile.

Questions

What is LocalBusiness schema markup?

A block of JSON-LD code, defined by Schema.org, that states a business's name, address, phone number, opening hours, service area and offerings in a structured format search engines and AI assistants can read without guessing.

Is this schema generator free?

Yes — no account, no signup, no email. It runs in your browser and nothing you enter is transmitted to RalliGEO.

Where does the generated code go?

Paste it into the <head> section of your homepage. Most website builders have a “custom code” or “header scripts” field for this. It is invisible to visitors.

How do I check the markup is valid?

Run the page through Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema.org validator. Both are free. The generator produces valid output, but validating after you paste it confirms your platform did not alter it.

Does schema markup help with AI search as well as Google?

Yes. Structured data is one of the clearest signals an AI engine has about what a business is and where it operates — the same block earns you both, which is why it is usually the highest-return hour of work on this list.

The other three

All four tools share one set of business details — fill them in once and switch between tools without retyping anything.
