Does AI recommend your business?
Ten questions. One score. A ranked fix list you can actually act on Monday morning — no analyst, no $499/month dashboard to learn. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent or stored.

Your AI Visibility Score
How your score was built — all 10 factors, weighted ▸
Each factor is weighted by how strongly it moves whether AI answer engines find and recommend a local business. Green = full credit, amber = partial, red = the points you're leaving on the table. The reds are your fix list, in order.
Your ranked fix list
Grouped into quick wins to knock out this week and deeper work for this month — highest-impact first in each. Do them top to bottom, and tick each one off as you finish it.
Worth knowing: every fix above is a shared fundamental — the same crawler access, schema, entity clarity, FAQ content and citations that make AI engines recommend you are what classic Google has always rewarded. You're not choosing between AI search and regular search. This one list lifts both.
Your score lives in a private link — no account, nothing stored on our end. Save it, revisit it, or send it to whoever helps run your site.

llms.txt is the plain-text file you put at the root of your site to introduce your business to AI assistants — what you do, where you are, and which pages to read. Most local sites don't have one. Here's yours, built from your answers. Free, no account.
Build my llms.txt file
Save the file as llms.txt and upload it to the top level of your site so it loads at yourbusiness.com/llms.txt. Keep it factual — the spec discourages marketing words like "best" or "leading," because assistants weight plain, checkable facts. Re-generate any time your details change.
Schema markup (JSON-LD) is the hidden code that tells Google and AI engines exactly what your business is, where it is, and what it offers — in a format they can't misread. Most local sites don't have it, and trackers only tell you it's missing. Here's yours, built from the same answers, ready to paste. Free, no account.
Build my schema markup
Uses the website, services, phone and area you entered above for the llms.txt file. Fill those in and this updates automatically. The three fields below are optional — adding them rounds your markup out to Google's recommended set for a local business.
Paste the whole block — including the <script> tags — into the <head> of your homepage. It's invisible to visitors and read by search and AI engines. Keep it factual (no "best" / "leading" — engines weight plain facts). Then confirm it's valid with Google's free Rich Results Test or schema.org validator. Re-generate any time your details change.
The paid trackers run a prompt library against ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini for you — for hundreds of dollars a month. You can run the ones that matter yourself in about five minutes. Here are the exact questions your customers actually type, built from your answers. Paste each into ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google, and note whether you show up. That's your real baseline — free.
Build my test-kit prompts
Uses the category, town and services you already entered. Add services in the llms.txt tool above to get service-specific prompts too. Run each one, then tick the engines where you appear.
Run each prompt in a fresh chat (no prior context) and, where the engine allows, set your location to your town. AI engines aren't consistent — the same question can name you once and skip you the next time. If you've got the patience, run each prompt twice and record the worse result; that's the free version of what the enterprise trackers do by sampling every prompt a hundred times.
This is the only measured number on this page — everything else is estimated from your own answers. Tap each square until it matches what that engine actually said. Nothing is sent anywhere; it's saved in this browser only.
In the answers where you were named, did the engine get these right? Tap once for right, twice for wrong. Leave anything it didn't mention alone.
Squares you haven't run don't count against you — the percentage is only ever calculated from checks you've actually done. A top pick counts full; being named further down the answer counts a bit over half, because getting listed gets you considered and being the pick gets you called. Come back and re-run the same prompts in a month: this grid remembers, and shows you what moved.
Before an AI engine can recommend you, its crawler has to be allowed to read your site. One line in a file called robots.txt can silently block ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini — and site builders and "AI-blocker" plugins add it without telling you. The paid suites check this behind a $99+/month paywall. Paste yours and we'll tell you exactly what's blocked, and give you the fix. Free, no account, nothing leaves your browser.
Check my AI crawler access
Open your-website.com/robots.txt in a new tab, copy everything, and paste it below. Don't have one, or the page is blank? Leave it empty and tick the box — a missing robots.txt means every crawler is allowed, which is fine.
Your fix. Add this block to the end of your robots.txt (it explicitly welcomes every major AI engine). If a line above named a specific Disallow: / under one of these crawlers, delete that line too — an explicit block overrides this allow.
This checks whether each engine's crawler can reach your homepage. Blocking Google-Extended only affects Gemini and Google's AI grounding, not your normal Google Search listing. After you edit the file, re-paste it here to confirm every row is green.
Want the real thing, not a self-assessment?
This scorecard estimates your readiness from what you know. The paid RalliGEO audit actually queries ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews with the questions your customers ask, shows you the verbatim answers, and we implement the fixes. Greater Portland, one-time, fixed price.
